The McMinn County High School marching band is holding Color Guard auditions after school from April 18 to 22, in the MCHS Band Room. The Color Guard performs flag routines with the marching band at halftime of MCHS football games, parades, and marching contests. Friday will be Black and Gold Day at Calhoun School in memory of McMinn County High School Coach Tim McPhail who passed away yesterday. Coach McPhail has been a role model, teacher, and coach of multiple sports for our Minks who attend MCHS. He will be missed by many!

Picture Day is Thursday, March 10th. This includes spring individuals, class, 8th Grade superlatives, and cap and gown for kindergarten and PreK. Please do not dress students in green as they will blend into background.
CES Relay for Life Team will begin selling Hershey’s Kisses in memory of Calhoun student and teacher Melissa Hershey on remaining Tuesdays and Thursdays in March for $.10 each. All proceeds benefit Relay for Life. Students may purchase in homeroom. If interested in sponsoring a class, please email cgarrison@mcminnschools.com.
